Established in Hong Kong in 2018, HashKey Group was approved by the city’s securities regulator last August to open HashKey Exchange to serve retail investors under the city’s new crypto regulatory regime
(Hong Kong) — HashKey Group, the operator of Hong Kong’s biggest licensed cryptocurrency exchange, launched a new global trading platform Monday in the first step of its ambitious global business expansion.
Registered with the Bermuda Monetary Authority, the new virtual asset exchange HashKey Global will serve institutional and retail traders across the world except for those in regions with regulatory issues including the United States, the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong. HashKey Global will operate separately from the HashKey Exchange in Hong Kong, according to chief operating officer Livio Weng.
